How to install the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Client for Outlook (offline access)

Requirements:
- Microsoft Outlook 2003 or 2007 (Outlook 2007 recommended).
- Internet connection.
1.) Download Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 for Microsoft Outlook:
Choose the language you want to install, each language has its own download.
2.) Save the downloaded file in a temporary location and start or run it directly.
3.) Choose the location of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Client for Outlook and click on "OK".
4.) The extraction is complete.
5.) Start the setup client application from the location you chose above.
6.) If a security warning appears, please just click on "Continue".
7.) You can choose from two installations:
- Install Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook
- Install Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook with Offline Access
This manual describes the offline access version. Choose "Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook with Offline Access" and click on "Continue".
8.) Read the Microsoft Licencing Terms and accept.
9.) The install wizard will now check your system for required components. If some components are missing, you will see this screen. If all components are already installed, you can continue with step 13.
Click on "Install".
10.) Click on "Yes" to download and install the missing components.
11.) Microsoft Dynamics CRM setup will now install the missing components.
12.) All components are installed. Click on "Next >".
13.) Type in the location of your Microsoft Dynamics CRM Client. In most cases, the default path should be ok.
14.) Setup now checks your system again. If all components are in place, click on "Next >".
The setup assistant will now install the necessary files. This may take up to several minutes.
15.) The setup is finished. You can now continue with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Configuration wizard. A manual can be found on our website.
