How to Configure the Microsoft Dynamics CRM-Client for Outlook (Online and Offline Access)

System requirements:
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Client has to be installed.
- Before continuing with the assistand, please make sure that all updates are available.
- An Outlook profile has to be setup and configured (e.g. with Skyfillers Hosted Exchange).
- A Hosted Dynamics CRM account from Skyfillers.
1.) In the Start menu, choose "Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0" – "Configuration Assistant".
2.) Click on "Continue".
3.) Choose "Online Service Provider" and click on "Continue".
This choice is necessary to get access to our Hosted Dynamics CRM 4.0 infrastructure.
4.) Enter the URL of your CRM organisation you have received with your login data.
The URL will look like this: https://COMPANYNAME.crm.sfp-net.com
COMPANYNAME is the short name for your CRM organisation.
5.) Enter your user name and password.
Usually, your user name is your e-mail address. If you use a Skyfillers Hosted Exchange account, please use the same login data.
6.) You can take part in the improvement of the usability. If you want to take part in the survey, please mark the respective box
Click on "Continue".
7.) Now, the configuration assistant identifies the system requirements. If one or more requirements have not been met, please follow the instructions given by the assistant.
After all requirements have been met, click on "Continue".
8.) The configuration assistant for Microsoft Dynamics CRM is now finished. Close the assistant by clicking on "Finish".
9.) Re-start Outlook and choose the respective account you want to use with Hosted CRM. Enter your user name and your password.
10.) Sign in to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, using the same login data you entered in the setup.
If you already use Skyfillers Hosted Exchange, login data for Hosted Exchange und Hosted CRM will be identical.
11.) After configuring CRM, a new menu will be available in Outlook. In this menu, you can pick from different CRM features.
